One of His angels now....

Sitting this morning kind of numb, eyes puffy from crying myself to sleep and waking up doing it all over again. My heart is heavy with sorrow for the loss of a beautiful life cut short. The adjectives for this young lady are endless...Precious daughter, loving sister, best friend, beautiful bubbly blonde, awesome soccer player, prettiest smile, kindhearted, funny, the sweetest girl you'd ever know...
Of course, when something this tragic happens, the question of Why? is steady in your thoughts.
Being a mother also brings the reality of how easily that could be one of my sons. The driver or passenger. In this tragedy, both driver and passenger were two of Nick's closest friends. Since elementary school. High school graduation is in less than 3 weeks.

Oh how fragile life is and how it all can change in an instant. The phone has been buzzing all night with phone calls & text msgs alike. Family, friends, and students are saddened, shocked and horrified that something like this happened. My heart & prayers go out to the Cosan & Wise family, as well friends and the MPHS student body that will all be affected by this very sad & tragic accident.

You will always be loved & your beautiful smile will be missed Carolynn ♥

Oh, Dee, I'm so sorry. I know about this type tragedy all too well. We lost both my mother & father-in-law in a 2 car crash in 2002, along with another person. All were in their 70's and to this day we cannot be sure what really happened, nor does it even matter why. It happened and it is so hard to bear. Big big hugs to you, your son, Carolynn's family and Cody.

Prayers & Love,
Stephanie

Thanks Stephanie..it has been a tremendously sad weekend for the boys.
I'm even sadder by being thousands of miles away now.. I can't even wrap my arms around Nicholas & Jake.
Thanks so much Stephanie for your big 'ol cyber hugs... they always mean so much to me :)
Have a good Monday..
