I adored this book when it was purchased several years ago. I was like wow!! I had never seen anything like this and so it's been on display in my home ever since ;o)

My circle of friends has always been open no matter the skin tone. I never allowed negative voices to deter who I wanted to be friends with :o)

It thrills my heart to know that my boys see beyond skin color in determining who they offer up friendship to as well. I pray that they continue to assess their friendships based on the content of someone's character rather than what is on the outside.
